First, what face shape do you have? This is a crucial factor in finding eyewear that enhances your natural features. There are no hard and fast rules but here is a guideline:
- Oval: wrap, slightly square, high temples
- Square: round, oval, cat-eye
- Rounded: light – thin frames, square rectangular frames
- Triangular: aviator, rimless
Secondly, consider your lifestyle. If you’re the adventurous, outdoorsy type you’ll need a pair that can handle some wear and tear. If you prefer basking on the beach and lounging in outside cafes, go for something more stylish. If you’re an athlete, a pair of sports-specific eyewear may be best.
