Chew on this! PIZZABOYZ – “Da home of da square pizza” – has taken on the challenge of making a 100m pizza and selling off each metre to businesses and individuals for R1000 each in a bid to raise R100 000 for The Sunflower Fund.
This money will then be used to recruit and tissue type 100 new bone marrow stem cell donors for
inclusion on The South African Bone Marrow Registry. The more donors on the Registry, the more hope leukaemia sufferers have of finding their life-saving donor match.
The event will take place on Saturday, November 27 at Bluff Towers Shopping Centre and all logistics will be handled by PIZZABOYZ. The money raised will go directly into The Sunflower Fund’s account (see below) and where necessary invoices and Section 18A Certificates will be issued.

For donations of R10 000 or more the business will receive the following exposure:
1. A photo with a PIZZABOYZ and Sunflower Fund Representative
2. This photo and a caption will be distributed to The Sunflower Fund’s media database. Although coverage is never guaranteed, The Sunflower Fund usually receives a good response from the media in KZN.
3. The photo and caption will appear on The Sunflower Fund website which receives approximately 9500 hits a month.
4. The photo and caption will appear on The Sunflower Fund Facebook site.
5. The photo and caption will appear in The Sunflower Fund newsletter which is distributed to 3 500 supporters.
