Award-winning online kitchen and home retailer, Yuppiechef.com has launched The Art of Baking, a free online learning experience for bakers.
Hosted by renowned South African foodie, Sarah Graham, the course comprises six lessons which learners can complete at their own pace, in their own home and from the device of their choice.
The course is fully enabled for mobile to make life easier for people on-the-go and with busy schedules.
Each lesson has four steps including: watching an engaging tutorial video; reading through the lesson notes and review key points; baking a recipe in their own kitchen; and finally, completing a quiz to unlock the next lesson.
Sarah Graham, author of the quirky cookbook Bitten, food blogger at afoodieliveshere.co.za and celebrated TV personality, says “I was beyond excited to get involved in this project and so much effort, pride and passion has gone into it. There aren’t many resources out there and this course speaks to a wide variety of people. There are many tips and tricks to pick up on and I hope that aspiring bakers will love the course as much as I did.”
From making a standard cake to delicious homemade pastries and freshly baked bread, the course has been designed to give even the most inexperienced bakers the foundational knowledge they need to master key baking subjects, while more experienced bakers will benefit from unique baking secrets and recipes.
