A gorgeous new you!

Cate Clarke after a session with Image Insured

The secret of a successful makeover is to create a harmony with one’s clothing, hair colour, make-up and accessories. This is why it’s so important to do a “colour analysis”, which will determine all of the above.

Most of us have no idea as to what colour our hair should be or what colours we should wear to make us look younger and more vibrant.

Cate Clarke, a freelance journalist, visited Fay and Megan of Image Insured and discovered that she has “Summer” colouring with cool undertones. This meant that the dark warm blonde in her hair had to change and all the warm colours she loved to wear (which made her look tired and washed-out) had to change to cool, muted tones.

Grant Harper of Scott & Wells (Gateway) applied light and medium ashe blonde highlights and low-lights, then toned with a light pearl ashe to cut through the warmth. He cut Cate’s hair to mid-length with a strong layering technique to create texture.

Cate’s visit to Sam at Heritage Retreat showed that her skin was dull, dehydrated and devitalised. After conducting a Face Mapping procedure, analysing Cate’s skin under a magnifier, a Dermalogica Accelerator Skin Treatment was done using a high bio-activity exfoliant. The result was a glowing and vitalised skin.

After waxing, tinting, manicure and pedicure, Cate’s appearance is more youthful and groomed. Go Cate!
