A Handful of Keys – the international theatre phenomenon seen by more than 300 000 people in more than 1 000 performances on three continents, returns to Durban’s Elizabeth Sneddon Theatre from March 29 until April 17.
The 2011 season sees Jonathan Roxmouth and Roelof Colyn paired on stage. The two men at two grand pianos give a dazzling display of pianistic virtuosity and hilarious impersonation. A performance of constant surprise, intelligence and wit, with music that ranges from the great classic masters of Bach and Beethoven, through to kings of soul Ray Charles and Fats Waller, via the queens of show biz and pop Elton John, Freddy Mercury and Liberace – A Handful of Keys is a completely South African product of international standard
