Monday, 28 May, was International World Hunger Day, which is a worldwide initiative, designed to increase awareness and understanding towards alleviating hunger. Staff at deVere Investments South Africa, part of the world’s largest investment advisory group, were tasked to contribute to the cause by asking all employees to donate bread and long life milk on the day.
The members of staff from the Durban office took up this challenge with gusto, along with all of the other branches around South Africa, and contributed to the event by collecting for the Light House Community Soup Kitchen, based in Durban.
