Gateway’s Right Royal Durban July Experience, to be held on the afternoon and evening of July 1, 2011, offers a star-studded entertainment and fashion showcase, with the likes of 5FM DJ Fresh, The Arrows and Colleen Eitzen wowing the crowd.

The event (which was first held in 2009 to tie in with the Durban July) will kick off with “Happy Hour”, where the ever popular 5 FM DJ Fresh and his team will broadcast live from the Wave House from 3pm-5pm.
The show features some of the best DJ talent available joining 5 FM DJ Fresh and the “Ultamix at 6” where DJ Kent will perform (the first time “Ultamix at 6” will be broadcast from the Wave House).
A new element of this event, live bands will rock the house, headed by The Arrows, Liquideep and Lonehill Estate.
Some of the big name designers on show include: Colleen Eitzen; Leigh Schubert; David Tlale; Karen Monk Klinjstra; Kathrin Kidger; Rozanne Immerman and Suzy Mockridge. Clearly a top class line-up.
Celebrities are always keen to be part of the event and the organisers promise a galaxy of stars to rub shoulders with in the VIP area.
PR Manager for Primedia Lifestyle, Nikisha Deoduth, said the event was bigger than ever this year to tie in with the 10th anniversary celebration for the centre. The fashion and entertainment extravaganza was also Gateway’s biggest event of the year.
