November 24, 2010. There was an accident on the N2 south-bound on the Durban side of Sibaya Drive turn-off on Wednesday night about 8.30pm but Metro Police have confirmed that there were no serious injuries.
Traffic travelling south towards Durban was slowed as it approached the Sibaya Drive turn-off around 8.30pm. Just past the turn-off it slowed to a crawl and a number of police, emergency and ambulance vehicles were on the scene. Metro Police and Fire and Rescue services were overseeing the removal of vehicles and medics were ensuring that any minor injuries were attended to.
This was obviously an incident that looked more serious than it actually was: Metro Police confirmed that two vehicles were involved and there were no serious injuries.
