Ethekwini Water Construction will be commencing the Relaying of Water Mains – (Acutts Drive) project on 30 June 2014. The project is expected to last for 3 months from 30 June 2014.
“The water pipe will be laid down the centre of Acutts Drive and because of that, Acutts Drive will be completely closed from Crowned Eagle Crescent to Hillside Road for the entire 3 months. There will be no through traffic permitted,” said Councillor Rick Crouch.
They will be using stop and go signs to control traffic, where necessary, in other parts of Acutts Drive.
Health and Safety is a priority and it will be very hazardous to have traffic movement whilst working in this section of road.
