It’s an important debate in today’s society when people, and particularly children, are exposed to so much in the media. Beyoncé’s latest steamy ad to promote her new fragrance, Heat, has left Britons feeling a little hot under the collar.
Britain’s advertising standards authority (ASA) has banned the advertisement from prime time viewing in the UK. The ASA has not deemed the advert obscene, but is unhappy for it to be seen by children. It has ruled that the advert may not be aired before 7.30pm.
What are your thoughts? Was the ASA’s decision correct?
