Excitement is mounting ahead of this year’s Discovery East Coast Radio Big Walk on Sunday 18 May 2014.

This year, organisers have opted for a Big Walk to Freedom theme in acknowledgement of the country’s anniversary of two decades of democracy.
People from all over KZN (and beyond) will together experience stretch of Durban’s magnificent coastline on 18 May, celebrating unity and the fact that we are free to connect with family and friends while spending some real quality time together.
East Coast Radio’s Marketing Manager, Renée Burton, says, “We are so excited about this year’s Discovery East Coast Radio Big Walk. We feel that our on-air offering really encapsulates the true spirit of the walk and it is really about combining a healthy lifestyle with having fun in our amazing city.”
It’s going to be loads of fun for the whole family – especially since with no Mini Big Walk this year, there is plenty of en-route entertainment for the kids: clowns, jugglers, stilt-walkers and more.
