Brettenwood Coastal Estate in Sheffield Beach hosted an event to celebrate the official opening of its rustic entertainment area for residents on Saturday, November 13. The facility, aptly named Woodland Rest after the Woodland Kingfisher (Halcyon Seregalersis), was opened by Brett Hulett, Chairman of the Hulett Development Company (Pty) Ltd, developer of the Estate.
“Woodland Rest is not only a unique facility, but it’s also one of the most beautiful parts of the estate, and we are very excited about the fact that residents and their families and friends will be able to enjoy it for many years to come”, said Hulett.
Situated in the Palm Forest and on the edge of a beautiful lily pond, the grassed tranquil area has a covered deck and bar, an open boma, braai facilities as well as a children’s play area. Log bridges, tables and benches around the pond and entertainment area and two lovely walks through the shaded forest add to the ambience of the area.
This facility is a stunning addition to Brettenwood Coastal Estate, winner of awards for Best Development and Best Development Marketing in the prestigious Europe & Africa Property Awards 2010, held in association with Bloomberg Television in London.
