Ho Ho Ho and a bottle of rum – or any other party fare that might tickle yer fancy. uShaka Marine World is proud to present a swashbuckling sequel to last year’s extremely popular BUCCANEERS at the Upper Deck Restaurant – and because the original was so successful, there’ll be an extended run from February 10, until May 8, 2011 .
Join this jolly band of pirates at the Phantom Ship – put a shot across the bow, raise the good old Jolly Roger and broad for an evening of fun filled entertainment where the audience becomes part of the show. The performing pirates are no longer marooned on the stage – they’ll be dancing with the audience and leaping on to tables. Staged numbers or sing-along moments are not requested, but expected!
The all new cast is made up of Christopher Dudgeon as “Captain Morgan Freeman”, Thokozani Nzima as “Fleck”, Byron-Lee Olivato as “Flea”, Melissa Allison as “Delilah Winterbottom”, Durban-born Donnagh Roberts as “Scurvy Samuels” and circus professional Tyra Nielsen as “Olga Rub-Yer-Schnoz-In-It”.

Written and directed by Neels Claasen the creator of previous Upper Deck productions such as The Best Party Show…Ever!, The Party Police and Ocean Warriors Mascot Show, with musical Direction by Heidi Edeling and choreography by Eloise Clasen and Shelley Adriaanzen.
Buccaneers – The Sequel also includes a four-piece band lead by Trevor Harper on keyboards, Francois Steyn on drums, guitars, banjo and harmonicas and Durban musos Paul Cassells on bass, drums and guitar and Andy Turrell on lead guitar.
