Urshula du Plooy, a 34-year-old mother of four children, visited Fay and Megan of Image Insured with a dilemma many young mothers have – time. Fortunately, with Fay and Megan’s expertise, they taught her, in a few simple steps, how to look beautiful even though she has virtually no time for herself.
“We see so many moms who have neglected themselves because they are too busy raising their children. Moms can easily just fade away from themselves without realising that it’s happening, so we teach them how to still look lovely during this hectic time of their lives.
“Simply by knowing which colours to wear that suit their skin tone, how to apply a ‘quick five-minute make-up’ in the correct colours, and knowing what colour and style their hair should be, will enable all busy moms to still look great.
“Grant Harper, our amazing and talented stylist, removed the dark black box dye that Urshula had been using on her hair. This was done in two stages, which was followed by a process to correct the tone to create a rich warm golden brunette brown, which far better suits Urshula’s warm skin tones. Her long straight hair was swopped for a choppy long-layered bob.”
