The wedding of the century thus far, and one of the year’s most talked about events, Prince William’s wedding to Kate Middleton, is getting full respect from pay for view broadcaster DStv, which includes some fine documentaries in the lead up to the big event.

“Dstv guarantees viewers a front-row seat to all the excitement, with up-to-the-minute news updates and stories surrounding the royal wedding,” says a spokesman.
Starting on Friday, April 1, BBC World News will have four key programmes dedicated to the wedding:
WITNESS: Will take viewers back to key events in history. “Four special royal episodes will offer a unique and personal perspective of all major royal stories, including the wedding of Charles and Diana.”
ONE SQUARE MILE: Will talk to four people from four countries that make up the United Kingdom, and find out what they think about the forthcoming wedding.
ROYAL WEDDING SPECIAL: Will give viewers exclusive insight into everything happening in the build-up to the big day. This will be hosted by World News presenter Mishal Husain.
WEDDING DAY: Will give viewers access to the whole story of the wedding, with correspondents on the ground reporting on live events, including the ceremony and celebrations on London’s streets. Dstv’s E! Entertainment will feature presenter Giuliana Rancic live from the royal red carpet in London.

CNN: Piers Morgan and Richard Quest will take centre stage anchoring CNN’s live coverage of the event.
