January 13, 2012. After a very successful festive season, the first on Ballito’s Pumpkin Theatre line-up for 2012 is the tributes show “It Takes Two”, featuring classic duets – from the world of rock and country to the great pop classics.
“It Takes Two” brings together a mix of collaborations from the likes of Elton John and Kiki Dee’s Don’t Go Breaking My Heart, to Simon and Garfunkel, Kenny Rogers, Dolly Parton and many more. The production will star four powerful vocalists and a live show band.
Last year the Pumpkin Theatre featured South African Idols winner Elvis Blue, who lit up the stage with his phenomenal talent. This year the theatre looks forward to a return date with Elvis Blue – two not-to-be-missed shows in February. “This might just be the perfect way to celebrate Valentine’s Day with your loved ones,” said Johann Jordaan, Managing Director of First Resorts.
Event info: “It takes Two” will run from February 10-March 18, on Friday evenings and Sunday afternoons. The ticket prices for the show are R140 for a meal and show, R80 for the show only. The Elvis Blue Valentine Special will run over two evenings on February 13 and 14. Tickets are R180 for the show and a meal, or R120 for the show only. Booking is essential, call 032 946 2121.
