Learners in Grades 11 and 12 at CURRO Hillcrest recently participated in a massive charity drive.
An initiative led by CURRO’s Head of Business Studies, Kyle Larkan, has raised several thousand rands over three months and aims to feed an orphanage for an entire year. Over 80 learners took over the food court area at Watercrest Mall on a Friday afternoon last month – sorting and packing food packs to hand over to the orphanage.
What a wonderful message to send out to the youth in our community! We hope this inspires other schools in the Upper Highway area to do the same.
