The Maritzburg College Aquatics Centre Parents Action Committee invites local businesses and the community to support their upcoming Golf Day fundraiser on Friday, 23rd March 2018.
The golf day will be held at the Maritzburg Golf Club and all funds raised will go towards improvements at the Aquatics Centre. The cost per four ball alliance is R2400 which includes green fees and a halfway house snack. All players with a handicap of less than 24 are welcome and tee-off times will be booked on a first come, first serve basis.
There are various sponsorship opportunities available including green, tee box, practice green and registration table sponsorships, and the committee is also looking for donations of four ball prizes.
In the lead up to the Golf Day, the Parents Action Committee is running a raffle. Tickets cost R20 each and the prize is a ‘barrow of booze’. The raffle draw will be held at the Golf Day prize giving.
Maritzburg College has been an integral part of The City of Pietermaritzburg and Education since 1863 and the Parent’s Action Committee hopes to be a part of this legacy by building upon these foundations and enhancing the facilities for scholars to enjoy for many more years to come.
