Jess Nicholson touched thousands of people through her ‘Friends of Jess’ Facebook page, which she used to raise awareness of her battle with brain cancer. This April, the Inspiring Women Network hosted a ‘Hats and Heels’ tea party at Talloula Conference and Wedding venue in aid of Jess and her family.

The 80 ladies who attended the tea party were beautifully dressed in the ‘Hats and Heels’ theme and treated to delicious pastries and bottomless cups of tea and coffee. Prizes and goodie bags were generously donated, and a morning of friendship and laughter was enjoyed by all, with the Nicholson family in mind throughout.
Although Jess passed away on 22 March, efforts continue to raise awareness and funds for the Nicholson family to help with the expenses of Jess’s treatment. Jess leaves behind her husband Simon and two little children Anna, aged two, and five-year-old Joel. All fundraising efforts have continued in memory of this inspiring woman and to assist with the outstanding medical bills.
