Playboy founder and legendary playboy Hugh Hefner (84) announced on Twitter that he would marry 24-year-old playmate Crystal Harris.
Hefner popped the question to Harris, who was Playboy Playmate of the Month in 2009, on Christmas Eve.
“Hef” tweeted that Harris burst into tears when he made the offer of marriage, adding, “This is the happiest Christmas in memory”.
Hefner, who suffered a stroke in 1985 seems to have suffered few ill effects from that episode and continues to provide the thrust for the Playboy empire which he started in 1953.
Hef divorced his second wife Kimberly Conrad, also a Playmate, this year.
