Emberton Preschool is a Christian facility. Providing a nurturing, loving and caring environment that offers quality child care and education. We will ensure a safe, loving, friendly and healthy environment for the children. Giving their parents peace of mind while their children are in our care – “home away from home”. The curriculum (NELDS, CAPS) will stimulate and offer access to quality, sustainable early childhood education. Each child will develop to his/her full learning and personal potential.
Children develop physically and emotionally and they learn by play. They become creative. They grow. They learn. They explore. Helping children with spiritual, social, physical, and mental development. Making them grow in fine and gross motor skills.

Emberton Preschool’s vision is to provide the best early childhood program for each child’s individual growth. To build an ideal environment that nurtures, develops and strengthens young learners.
Each child can develop to his/her full learning and personal potential. Giving them the opportunity to grow as each child is unique and a divine individual. Children can learn from every activity, interaction and experience. These early years of learning and growing are the building blocks of every child’s development.
We will cater and provide a safe, friendly, healthy, Christian environment for children between the ages of 1 to 5 years. All families in Emberton Estate as well as families of the Upper Highway area are welcome.
We want what is best for your children and have qualified staff to educate and look after your children. Staff that will encourage each child to enquire, grow, play and learn to prepare them for their next step.
Our classrooms will be equipped with toys, books, blocks, puzzles, charts and activities which stimulates learning, reading, counting and fine motor skills.
Creating our outdoor play areas with rocking horses, jungle gyms, water play and much more gross motor skill activities, we want to make use of learning by play.
In further developing their gross motor skills Emberton Preschool will offer extramural programs e.g. soccer, cricket, Playball, dancing, drama, etc.
We are committed to upskilling our staff and ensuring continued knowledge development of Emberton Preschool staff. Keeping up with trends in early childhood education.
Our Goals

- To provide opportunities for parental involvement in activities and fun days held at Emberton Preschool.
- To provide a holistic environment where we focus on the importance of the physical, emotional and psychological well-being of children, particularly in early childhood.
- To ensure children are physically healthy, the school will provide visits from professionals e.g. a visit from the audiologist, ENT and optometrist.
