At a recent award ceremony in Cape Town, Super Clean, the cleaning services company contracted to Hillcrest Private Hospital was awarded a Golden Services Award by Kimberly Clark for Hillcrest Private Hospital being the cleanest large hospital in South Africa.

In addition to ensuring the highest level of hygiene, the upmarket, “hotel-like” furnishings and attractive finishes make maintaining the high standards required by hospital management a challenge for the cleaning team, which is headed up by Sharon Trollope during the day and Lily Gie during the night.
Golden Service Awards were first launched in the United Kingdom in 1991 and were designed to recognise commitment to higher standards of excellence in the cleaning industry. As part of the value-added approach, Kimberly-Clark Professional South Africa wanted to give something back to the cleaning industry by recognising and awarding an often unappreciated – yet essential – service.
