Chairman of IBV, Ashok Sewnarain, commented that the club and its members would have an accumulated buying power of around R2 billion – which would make it the richest leisure sports club in the country.
“We will have four branches, in Durban, Cape Town, Sandton and Pretoria,” said Sewnarain.
The immediate target is to attract 1 000 members.
Financial benefits
Apart from the club hosting events such as breakfast runs and cross city drives, there would also be a number of financial benefits to joining the club.
IBV SuperCar Club’s Grace Rheeders and Sewnarain welcomed members of the media, business partners and invited guests to the function.
“We’re talking about the best deals on insurance premiums, access to finance for SuperCar owners, deals on spares, accessories and, of course, the swankiest designer wear,” said Sewnarain.
Just some of the big name brands on show at the SuperCar media launch included: Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche and Masarati. Also there were Bentley, Rolls Royce, Mercedes, Cadillac and many more.
