It is hot. Very, very hot, and everyone is moving very slowly. I have spent my day trawling the town for interesting things to do, and my conclusion is that you should get close to some water, stay hydrated and do as little as possible.
Life cannot come to a complete standstill of course, so if you are looking for water, combined with activities for the children, some beers for dad and supper for everyone, the newly revamped Joe Cools ticks all the boxes.
Scoop everyone up, take them down to North Beach, do some bodyboarding and change by the car Durban style. When you are nice and dry and the children are asking for tea, walk the five metres to Joe Cool’s and order some refreshing drinks and some supper.
