John Cleese is performing two shows in Durban on June 25th and 26th at the ICC. His legendary wit will have you laughing your socks off, and he is not scared of poking fun at himself. If you are a fan of British humour, go and give it a go. This is sardonic, verging on sarcastic mockery of many of the mainstays of modern society from materialism to the way we eat. Hilarious. Tickets are available from www.computicket.com from R340 to R510.
To get you into the mood for John’s on stage antics, why not go and watch Spud 2, The Madness Continues, coming to a movie theatre near you. Troye Silvan is back as the hapless Spud, as he continues his journey through adolescence and there are brilliant cameos from Aaron McIlroy as Spud’s father, and the boys from the last film have matured into their roles beautifully. If you are from Natal this is a must watch, you will laugh out loud.
