Data is humankind’s most important genetic fingerprint.
Data is unquestionably the key to success for businesses that need to take on this transformed world. When used intelligently, it opens up unique opportunities for facing present and future challenges.
This is the view of Greg Guye, CEO of a home-grown leader in data intelligence consultancy, Keyrus South Africa. As the company celebrates its 10 year anniversary this month, it also reveals its philosophy and vision for the future. The business, which has grown tenfold since its inception in 2011, now boasts dozens of multinational customers and an enviable track record of implementing cloud-based technologies for competitive advantage.
“In this context of profound societal change, businesses must absolutely embrace digital transformation to ensure growth, competitiveness and sustainability,” Greg Guye asserts.
This belief in the power of data to transform businesses and more importantly to make the future more human-focused lies at the heart of the Keyrus philosophy. It is also the driver behind the consultancy’s global rebranding, to be launched this anniversary month.
Keyrus South Africa was established by Greg Guye and co-founder Matthew Mottram as a subsidiary of Keyrus global company. Both founders are visionaries and entrepreneurs with international experience in finance and technology, who have grown the SA business from 4 in 2013 to 36 employees across offices in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban today. This is testament not only to their expertise and tenacity, but also to the demand by local and international businesses for data-driven processes. In addition, this remarkable growth was supported by the SA business environment which welcomes organisations that focus on growing the economy, boosting employment and ensuring skills transfer.
Despite several key international partnerships with the leading technology solutions providers, Keyrus is a tool agnostic consultancy that prides itself on selecting the best technology tools to meet clients’ specific business challenges. Its experts are highly experienced and able to offer practical solutions using reputable, modern and scalable cloud-based technology solutions.
Looking to the future
In response to recent economic, social and environmental changes, all of which increased with the global pandemic, and in celebration of the global company’s 25th anniversary, Keyrus has developed a new mission, logo and slogan.
Its mission is self-explanatory: “Master and give meaning to data to make the future clearer, simpler and more human-focused”.
“Data is part of our Group’s DNA,” explains co-founder and COO at Keyrus SA, Matthew Mottram. “Every day, we put data science to work in our responses to the strategic challenges of our times. Our revised mission makes this clear, while our new slogan: “Make data matter” epitomises this thinking.
“As data originates in human activity, the slogan also serves as a reminder of how important individuals are in the capital of our companies, and how essential it is for each economic player to work toward greater sustainability via the solutions and services they offer,” concludes Greg Guye.
To celebrate its 10th anniversary, Keyrus SA revealed its new global identity at a launch event held on 27th October in Mount Edgecombe.
