January 26, 2012. The drop-dead gorgeous R6.5m Lamborghini LP700-4 Aventador – the newest flagship hypercar off the production line – was unveiled in Umhlanga last night at a showcase event at International Bank Vaults at Gateway, Umhlanga.
The who’s who of society were on hand to ooh and ah at the magnificent machine, plus a line-up of supercars, including big names like Bentley and Ferrari.
At the event it was also announced by eThekwini Speaker Logie Naidoo that the Top Gear motoring show – featuring the likes of Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond – will get coming to Durban later this year. The Moses Mabhida Stadium is to be transformed into a track to form a magnificent setting for this first for Durban.
