Oyster Box Beach Clean
A big thank-you to the team from The Oyster Box Hotel who braved the chilly afternoon on Friday 20th May and took to the rocks and beach in front of the hotel to clean up litter washed in from the sea – strength is in the collective effort and the UIP is grateful for the help!
Clinic Upgrade Underway
New awning were installed last week as part of the revamp of the uMhlanga Rocks mobile clinic, which is aimed at improving user experience for everyone. See images and read details.
Protea Showing Colour
The Protea Hotel in uMhlanga Rocks is slowly beginning to reveal itself as the scaffolding comes down. The construction of the hotel began at the end of 2014 and is expected to be completed by August 2016.
Village Boutique Mall
Pearls of Umhlanga unveiled their first shopping mall boutique, with Food Lovers Market confirmed as the anchor tenant. From select beauty outlets and restaurants, to food stores and a fitness centre, Pearl Walk is bound to excite shoppers with many brands being a first in KwaZulu-Natal.
