Kloof Conservancy is hosting yet another Back to Nature event – this time, a joint venture with the Lepidopterists’ Society of Africa.
Following the very successful Leap Day for Frogs event in February, the Back to Nature Butterfly Day will take place on Saturday 29 March at the Interpretative Centre in Krantzkloof Nature Reserve.
There will be a morning walk to Mpithi Falls at 10am, so don’t be late!
Steve Woodhall, renowned author of a number of butterfly books and Chairman of the Lepidopterists’ Society, will also give an informative talk on the Butterflies of Kloof.
In the past two years, 37 species have been added to the list of butterflies in the area and Steve will cover some of these as well as the usual favourites.
Entry costs R30 for adults and R10 for children under 12. Funds raised go towards Kloof Conservancy Projects.
