Elegant and stylish and with a look of innocence and charm, if not outright beauty, she was a paparazzi photographer’s dream come true, and lensmen around the world hounded her relentlessly, looking for that front page scoop.
As Kate gathers her plans and her wits in preparation for the world’s greatest wedding next year, she should also be contemplating how to deal with the world’s press. Yes, she has been in the limelight for close on a decade, but that pales into comparison with what she will face from this point on.
Shapely and attractive, the world’s press and photographers are going to be following her every move, hoping for that great pic, or a mistake on her part. Having William at her side will be a help, but the pressure is going to be immense.

Channel24 reports that since the announcement of the couple’s engagement, Kate – dubbed “the Cinderella of Bucklebury” by Italy’s La Stampa newspaper – has adorned front pages and websites around the world, photographed showing off her ring and assessing potential wedding venues.
Max Clifford, Britain’s best-known celebrity publicist is reported to have said, “She’s the main event now.”
“She shouldn’t be roller-skating in hot pants,” Clifford said, referring to a much-reprinted 2008 photo of Middleton looking unsteady on wheels at a charity disco event.
According to Clifford, her every waking thought should take into consideration, “What is good for the Royals?”.
While William appears calm and in control in front of the media, he must have concerns about how Kate will cope, after the stress and heartache suffered by Diana at the hands of a relentless media, who were accused in some circles of hounding the princess to her death.
