September 23, 2011. There was an interruption to the clash between the Griquas and The Sharks at Kings Park tonight as the lights went out at the ground.
With the score at 7-10 in favour of the visiting outfit the Griquas, play was temporarily suspended as light was restored.
Players carried out warm-up routines as feverish efforts were made to restore the lights.
Lights were restored after +- 10 minutes and the Sharks had gained more control by half-time, leading the Griquas 14-10.
