Lion visits DUC!

I thought lions ruled the veld, and not the beach. Paul Naude submitted this video to The Ridge Online.

A young male lion was brought down to Durban for a golf day in 1999. Paul fetched his kids and rushed down to the DUC to see this strange spectacle. From the jungle to the white sands of Durban . . .Talk about a beach bum!

Paul said, “The lion came to Point Yacht club (beach site) with its rangers and keepers. They were raising the lion for release into the wild.”
