Multi award-winning theatre production company, Kickstart proudly presents the hit Broadway musical, Annie, at the Elizabeth Sneddon Theatre from 23 May until 15 June.
Annie is the rags to riches story of a plunky, red-haired girl who dreams of life outside her dreary orphanage. One day, Annie is chosen to stay for one week with the famous billionaire, Daddy Warbucks. One week turns into many, and the only person standing in the way of Annie’s fun is Miss Hannigan, the gin-soaked ruler of the orphanage.
This hugely popular family show features many memorable songs such as “Tomorrow”, “Hard Knock Life”, “You’re Never Fully Dressed Without a Smile”, “Maybe”, “Little Girls” and “Easy Street”.
The show stars Lisa Bobbert as the hilariously villainous Miss Hannigan, and Steven Stead making a rare appearance on stage as her wicked brother, Rooster.
Others in the cast include Iain Robinson as Daddy Warbucks, Jessica Sole as Grace and Belinda Henwood as Lillie. The magnificent sets depicting 1930’s New York City are designed by Greg King, and the gorgeous costumes by Neil Stuart Harris.
Annie is a guaranteed delight for the whole family, so book your tickets now!
Tickets are available through Computicket at a cost of R130.
