In celebration of Mother’s Day, Liza Clifford Professional Bra Fitting Studio in Kloof invited ladies to come for a free professional bra fitting and enjoy tea, coffee and delicious cupcakes.
Appointments were held half an hour apart and the atmosphere turned festive as people finishing their appointment and those arriving socialised and expressed their excitement at finding the perfect fitting (and not closest fitting) bra.
Liza Clifford Professional Bra Fitting Studio supports the Highway Hospices Ithemba project and encourages ladies to donate unwanted bras to the Hospice to help patients, who have left their care after receiving ARVs and chemotherapy, and need to sell second hand clothing in order to provide for their families. Bras can be sold for more than clothes and in turn provide extra income for the 37 unemployed recipients from Chesterville, Umlazi and Inanda.
