Andrew and Leon Smith have an impressive track record selling residential developments and a natural way with people that has earned them a loyal following. So, what’s next on the agenda?
If you live in or around Cotswold Downs, you’re sure to have seen the charismatic Smith brothers, Andrew and Leon. At over six-foot five-inches tall, they’re hard to miss!
“We are passionate about property and pride ourselves on our ability to sell out residential developments way ahead of target dates,” says Andrew.
Andrew opened his first estate agency in 1993 and, over the years, has been involved in a number of high profile residential and commercial property developments as co-developer and marketing co-ordinator, including Plantations Estate, The Heritage Market, Bishops Court office estate, Cotswold Downs, Hillcrest Corner and, more recently, St John’s Village Lifestyle Estate in the KZN Midlands.
Leon obtained his university degree and followed his own path in the corporate sector both locally and abroad. “Leon’s exceptional people skills set him apart,” says Andrew. “Integrity and honour may be considered old school values by some, but they are the code by which we operate.”
The Smiths’ track record speaks for itself and they have a large following of discerning investors on their database who keep an eye out for the next investment opportunity. Many of these “early birds” have made substantial financial returns as they follow the Smiths from one development to the next.
“Our investors know that the best opportunities are to be had at the pre-launch stage and keep an eye out for ‘the next big thing’. We only take on developments that offer exceptional value and that we know will appeal to the market. It’s actually a very simple recipe: give people what they want at a price that they feel is fair and, nine times out of ten, the project will fly.”
At present, the Smiths are hard at work on the launch of Emberton Estate, an exciting new development in the heart of the Upper Highway. Click here to read more.
The next two years promise to be very exciting for the dynamic Smiths, with new developments in uMhlanga and Hillcrest totalling more than 1 500 units. If Smiths Property Group had a share price, now would surely be the time to buy! *
