The award-winning South African Animal Sanctuary Alliance has opened its first sanctuary in KwaZulu-Natal. Monkeyland-KZN is home to eight species of exotic primate who roam freely through a 23-hectare indigenous forest. A tour of this stunning forest is a unique experience – and your knowledgeable guide will help you find as many of the species as possible while also pointing out interesting indigenous flora and their traditional uses in Zulu culture. If you’re lucky, you may also spot other wildlife that occurs naturally in the forest, such as the Natal Duiker and various bird species.
