Speaking at the event, guest speaker Deputy Mayor Logie Naidoo spoke of Umhlanga’s development, referring to the area as the Sandton of Durban. Naidoo also called Durban the “Miami of Africa”, and said the sunshine province has become a preferred tourist destination among many tourists, local and international.
