New home for Bidvest Bank

New home for Bidvest Bank … And personal customer service is still our number one priority

Boasting an impressive list of anchor tenants and entertainment facilities, the newly-opened Watercrest Mall is the only shopping centre of its size currently in the Upper Highway area. Consequently, it was a logical move for specialist banking institution Bidvest Bank to become a part of this new and exciting development, prompting the decision for the financial institution to relocate from its premises in Hillcrest Corner to the new Watercrest Mall.

Bidvest Bank regional manager Karl Diedricks says the new mall has a projected foot traffic of between 650 000 and 750 000 people on a monthly basis, which made the decision to relocate their operations “an easy one”.

“The layout and design of the new Watercrest Mall branch reflects the bank’s new identity and corporate image. Customers are welcomed and greeted by the same friendly faces from our Hillcrest Corner branch who will continue to provide excellent customer services in their new surroundings. Our new outward-facing automatic teller machine (ATM) provides customers with the benefit and convenience of after-hours banking,” he says.

The branch layout also offers customers a new experience in personal business and personal banking – meaning that from beginning to end, the customer experience has been designed to be a memorable and a seamless one.

The location inside the shopping centre makes it easy for new and existing customers to find the bank, with Diedricks adding that the branch was designed with customers’ comfort and safety in mind.

“We believe we have achieved this goal and have already received positive feedback from customers,” says Diedricks.

As a niche bank, Bidvest Bank provides financial solutions for personal and corporate customers in the fields of day-to-day banking, Fleet and Asset-based Finance, international money transfers, and travel foreign exchange.

The services available to clients at the Watercrest branch range from personal transactional banking accounts to offshore investment transfers with the consultants adequately equipped to discuss the various products and services available and to assist clients with their online banking solutions.

As a foreign exchange specialist, Bidvest Bank consultants are always available to provide customers with information regarding exchange control regulations.

“Bidvest Bank prides itself in providing personalised customer service. The expertise and passion for customer service by branch and corporate banking consultants is what sets the bank apart from our competitors,” Diedricks concluded.
