On Saturday 10 May 2014 Norton Rose Fulbright hosted their second Durban Scholar Day.
The event was attended by 120 learners from twenty-six schools, primarily from the Durban area, with a few who travelled from Pietermaritzburg.
The objective of the day was to provide learners with more information about a career in the legal field. Norton Rose Fulbright directors and associates hosted workshops on the day to provide this information, and UKZN law faculty member Mr Vishal Surbun was invited to speak to the learners about the university’s law degree and the university application process.
Norton Rose Fulbright director Malcolm Hartwell said that “the scholar day forms a critical part of our recruitment and marketing campaigns as it exposes hundreds of scholars from numerous schools to a fun and interesting programme in which they interact closely with our younger professionals.”
Norton Rose Fulbright is busy preparing for other opportunities and activities for school learners and will be contacting Durban schools again soon.
