Ogilvy & Mather South Africa (O&M SA) has extended its public relations arm by launching Ogilvy Public Relations Durban at the Ogilvy & Mather Durban (O&M DBN) offices.
In South Africa, Ogilvy Public Relations currently has offices in Johannesburg and Cape Town, with practices that specialise in consumer, corporate, healthcare and technology PR solutions.
This is further complimented by a strong public affairs practice, as well as social media and digital PR teams in the form of Social@Ogilvy.
Ogilvy Public Relations Durban joins one of the world’s largest PR networks, currently comprising of over 84 offices on five continents.
The launch of Ogilvy PR Durban brings a strong integrated public relations solution to Durban. O&M saw the need for a PR offering in Durban for both its local and international clients – and to compliment traditional PR practices with digital and social solutions.
Ogilvy Public Relations South Africa is dedicated to assisting clients move beyond traditional corporate communications into new and effective forms of engagement. The agency has not abandoned traditional communications methodology, but rather, has enhanced its offering with new forms of communication.
Ogilvy Public Relations Johannesburg recently launched the Content Factory, a hub that harnesses the expertise of writers, designers and videographers, to create the right content for the right audience segment at the right time, in traditional and social media/digital media.
Clients have embraced this new offering and it will be integrated into the Durban offering going forward.
