There’s been great excitement on Old Main Road, Hillcrest, as residents anticipate the opening of Oxford Freshmarket. Staff, suppliers and local residents celebrated the occasion with a glittering launch on Thursday, 10 October.
Owner Brett Latimer briefly addressed the crowd, thanking them for their support and vowing to do “whatever it takes to keep in the right place in the people’s hearts.” He also thanked his partner Paul Beltramo, without whom he said “we would not be able to open the doors!”
“We keep plan to keep it humble, keep it simple and forever at competitive prices,” said Latimer.
The store opened at 8.30am on Friday, 11 October to a crowd of people waiting to get their trolleys through the doors!
