The Pinetown and Districts Athletics Club (PDAC) will be hosting a 25km run and walk on Sunday 26 January.
The race will start at 5am at the Waterfall Shopping Centre and finish at the PDAC Club House at Lahee Park, with a cut-off time of 9:15am.
Entries can be made at the PDAC Club House on Saturday 25 January from 1pm to 5pm or at the start in Waterfall from 3:30am on race day. Entries cost R80 per person.
The route will go along Inanda Road in Waterfall to Hillcrest and then onto Old Main Road from Hillcrest to Gillitts.
Runners will then continue down Everton, Igwababa, Abelia, Willingdon, Pioneer and Wyebank through Kloof. The route in New Germany will go through Glamis, Bosse, Bohmer, High and Campbell.
The final stretch goes along Glenugie and Copeland to Lahee Park.
There will be buses taking residents to the starting area from the PDAC Club House from 3:30am. Fare costs R35 per person.
