If you are looking for activities for your children during the long summer holiday, and you would like them to learn some skills along the way, Dawn Rouse, a local photographer and mum is running a series of photography courses for children and teenagers during the holidays.
In a studio setting, the kids will begin by learning all the settings on a camera, something I still don’t understand, and will be comfortable with everything from panoramic to aperture by the time they are finished.
They will then have the chance to progress to surf and beach photography which is a skill all in itself, and find their own areas of photographic interest and level.
