Roger Ballen brings his exhibition Playpen to the KZNSA Gallery from tonight, the 5th February until the 3rd March. Roger shoots in black and white and brings a completely novel interpretation to the subject of children and childhood. Using black and white photography he captures the dark side of childhood.
He uses black and white film as a minimalist art form, the simplicity of the shots transforming our perceptions of familiar situations. If you want to see a world class photographer who has exhibited in some of the world’s great galleries, don’t miss this.
The gallery is open Tuesday to Friday from 9am to 5pm, Saturdays from 9amto 4pm and Sundays and Public Holidays from 10am to 3pm.
