The Peg Street Kings Downhill Longboard Race will be returning to Durban for a second year when the 2013 edition takes place at Danville Avenue on Friday 9 August.
Peg Street Kings is a downhill competition for the fast-growing and popular sport of Longboard Skating. The event is fully sanctioned by SAGRA (South African Gravity Racing Association).
The best riders in the country will be competing for the Street Kings Title and for valuable points that will eventually crown the SA Downhill Champ.
There will be a number of age groups and divisions, with the event open to all riders of all ages, sizes and skill:
There will be Jnr 1, Jnr 2 and Open categories where the best riders in South Africa will be participating. Leathers, full face helmet and gloves are required.
There will also be an Amateur Division which will be further broken down into age groups. Leathers are not required but are highly recommended. It is compulsory to wear full face helmets and gloves.
Entries are required to be done online prior to the event. Entries can be completed at www.pegstreetkings.co.za.
Registration fees are R200 before 2 August and R250 until 7 August.
