September 10, 2011. The charity Reach for a dream – which has offices at Gateway in Umhlanga – held a function at Upton Hall in Morningside to acknowledge those who had gone the extra mile during the extremely successful Reach For Your Slippers campaign.
Winners in the schools section were Atholl Heights Primary from Westville North, while Miladys was recognised in the corporate section for all their efforts and a large sum of money raised. Atholl Heights Primary won a show by the dynamic Paw Paw Productions entertainment group, while selected Miladys staff will enjoy an evening’s stay at magnificent Upton Hall.
It was announced at the function that the Reach For your Slippers campaign had raised more than R170 000. Following the success of the first campaign, Reach For a Dream plans to make it an annual initiative.
