SA Sporting Legends and Heartland Foods, will be climbing Kilimanjaro in an effort to raise enough money to feed and educate 3 000 hungry and impoverished South African kids. The Goal … feed and educate 3 000 children for a year!
Heartland Foods (local Durban-based cereals company), in association with SARLA (South African Rugby Legends Association) and Joint Aid Management (JAM) will be climbing Kilimanjaro in June 2013 to raise funds to feed and educate SA’s kids through JAM’s Nutritional Feeding Programmes.
JAM currently assist more than 1,000,000 children per day through their Nutritional Feeding programme – which also incentivises children to go to school as this is where they receive their ‘hot meal’ for the day. For more info go to: www.jamint.com
Only R360 feeds a child for a year, so we are looking to corporates and individuals to help us reach our goal of raising 3 000 kids for a year!
South African sporting legends that will be joining them on their quest to conquer Kili include: Stephen Terblanche, Percy Montgomery, AJ Venter, Warren Brosnihan, Alan Dawson & Aubrey Martyn.
Let’s join our fellow community members in raising funds and awareness for this great cause.
Together we can make a difference!
