Scouting for World Cup “talent”

By The Ridge Magazine21/10/20114 Mins Read

Now that the Boks are out of the rugby World Cup, we no longer have to sit on the edge of our seats and stress about our lads winning the final match, which is just days away. Ladies . . . do you know what this means? We finally get to relax, sit back and enjoy the “talent” on show in the third place playoff and final.

In the picture: “Talented” All Black backline player Richard Kahui has made more than one female fan weak at the knees during the Rugby World Cup.

In the final match to be played this Sunday at 10am local time, New Zealand and France will be competing for glory in the Rugby World Cup 2011 final. And I am glad to inform you that I have done some scouting, and there are a few “fine” looking players, which well help us enjoy the match even though our boys are not playing.

Oh boy! There is definitely enough talent on these teams to make any woman weak at the knees. So here’s what we like…

New Zealand:

1. Daniel Carter: Born in Leeston, New Zealand on the 5th of March, 1982. This boy can definitely be described as the “Christiano Ronaldo” of Rugby.  Also known for his modelling, Dan has been on many billboards worldwide for Jockey underwear. This dark haired hottie was also voted sexiest New Zealand male and third sexiest male athlete in the world. He is regarded as one of rugby’s greatest ever fly-halves.

2. Richard Kahui: Born in Tokoroa, New Zealand on the 9th of June, 1985. Kahui plays wing for the All Blacks. Ladies, this boy has a smile that is sure to make you weak at the knees. There are no better words to describe him, than as an absolute beauty. In the words of a good friend of mine, “His face looks like it was carved by angels”.

3. Anthony Boric: Born in Auckland, New Zealand on the 27th of December, 1983. This talented boy plays lock on the field. He is so much more then just a pretty face. Besides his tall, dark and handsome appearance which I know us ladies cannot resist, he is also studying civil engineering at the University of Auckland. There is nothing better then an intelligent hottie – can you say irresistible?

Zac Guildford, major talent
Zac Guildford, baby face, quick feet, big talent

4. Zac Guildford: Born in Masterton, New Zealand on the 8th of February, 1989. Zac plays wing for the All Blacks. What makes Zac so attractive is that he is only 22 years old, and already a success story. Let’s not forget his “baby face” look. This boy has the most beautiful, mesmerising eyes – some serious melt material right there!

France:

1. Dimitri Szarzewski: Born in Narbonne, France on the 26th January, 1983. This pretty boy plays hooker on the field. Dimitri is this year’s cover model for Dieux du Stade 2011. One of his best physical attributes is his perfect dimple set right in the middle of his chin; don’t forget the piercing blue eyes and gorgeous bod! Keep a look out for him on the field.

2. Francois Trinh- Duc: Born in Montpellier, France on the 11th November, 1986. Francois plays either fly-half or outside centre. Francois just has that “something about him look”, you can’t quite put your finger on it but you know there is that something… perhaps it’s his soft eyes, or that strong jaw line.

Alexis Palisson, French talent. Wing or fullback
Alexis Palisson, whether on the wing or fullback . . . major talent

3. Alexis Palisson: Born in Montauban, France on the 9th of September, 1987. This hottie plays as full back or wing. His longish brown scruffy hair and bit of stubble that he always seems to keep, gives him the rugged, outdoorsy kind of appearance. He’s the kind of guy you’d expect to save you if the building was on fire!

4. David Skrela: Born in Toulouse, France on the 2nd of March, 1979. He either plays fly-half or centre. The best word to describe him is “Easy on the eyes”. There is a strong possibility that he could be from Latin decent, with those gorgeous dark eyes, dark hair, and dark skin. It doesn’t get better than . . . tall, dark and handsome…

While we may well be depressed that our boys did not make it to the finals . . . I guess it’s always good to remember that “every cloud has a silver lining”. For us, that silver lining is not the Kiwi emblem, but rather getting to enjoy the beauty of the players, and their great physical attributes, without having to worry about the stress of winning. – Danielle Sheedy
