‘Slipper Day’ stickers available at all Wimpy outlets countrywide
This year Reach For A Dream will be activating the annual Slipper Day campaign on Friday August 07th. All South Africans can take part in the campaign by reaching for their slippers and wearing them to work, school, the mall, all in aid of helping children fighting life-threatening illnesses. You can help a child’s dream to come true by buying your R10 sticker from a Wimpy near you from the 1st July to the 7th August and proudly wear your slippers on Slipper Day.
For the second year in a row you can purchase your sticker from any Wimpy outlet countrywide in a show of support and solidarity for the Reach For A Dream foundation. Wear your sticker and slippers to Wimpy on the 7th August and this will guarantee you a free cup of Wimpy’s regular coffee.
“Last year stickers sold through Wimpy outlets resulted in just over R1.1 million in funds for Reach For A Dream and this year we would like to sell even more stickers to our loyal customers to further aid this non-profit organisation”, says Karabo Morudu, Wimpy Brand Manager. “At Wimpy we are all about families and aiding in making seriously ill children’s dreams come true is a privilege for us as a group.”
Reach For A Dream has been around for 27 years and has dedicated itself to making dreams come true. No dream is too small or too big and ranges from children wanting to see the ocean for the first time, taking a drive in a Ferrari, a flight in a Helicopter, becoming a Doctor for the day to visiting Disney World.
