How long have you been saying that you’ll get back into shape soon? Well, here’s your chance to start – and for a good cause.
This boot camp in aid of Kloof and Highway SPCA will provide an alternative environment to traditional gym-based exercise. Fresh air, sun, trees and nature in general will provide you with a ‘lift’ in your spirits that indoor training simply cannot compete with.
You’ll be doing all the traditional squats, lunges and push-ups, adding in some twists and obstacle work as you progress.

If you think you’re not fit enough, don’t worry. Just put in as much effort as you can and don’t be afraid to take a breather if you need to. You’ll also get plenty of drinks breaks.
The Kloof and Highway SPCA Boot Camp will start on Saturday, 11 February and run for four weeks until 3 March. Sessions are from 8 to 9am at Emberton Driving Range, just off the M13 in Hillcrest.
All it costs is R30 per session (which will be donated to the SPCA) or bring along a bag of items for the Kloof and Highway SPCA to sell in its charity shops.
